We went, we saw... BIKER BOYZ
Fish_Antlers, Photogirl, Sassy Vanilla + Myself - bought tickets to 'BIKER BOYZ'. We laughed (sometimes at the right times), and we cried (some of us at the funeral scene).
We stayed for the ENTIRE thing!!!
I left the theatre smiling!
The stunts were wicked, the bikes beautiful, and if it didn't all make scense I didn't care cause I was watching Bikes -full screen, with dolbie fukin sound dude!
I would love to watch racing so big and so loud!
Anyways....
I hope holliwood makes more movies with sport bikes.
And I hope some of y'all (slug), can relax and take the politics out of the movie theatre and enjoy a movie about bikes.
PS.
I like those "BIKER BOYZ" jackets... makes me want a 'BIKELAND' one...
HMmmmm????

I saw the movie too and enjoyed. Those that ride laughed at some stuff. It did have more plot than I expected. Trust me, military movies don't portray soldiers exactly. ER doesn't portray medical people correctly. Go see it for the entertainment, not as if it were a documentary. Just my opinion.

Yea the funeral scene, reminded me of my buddy Chris Miller, he died a few years ago on his bike, and we had over 100 bikes at his funeral. that scene brought back some thoughts of that day... hey I really liked it and I have seen it twice and will go back again! I am supporting any type of racing and Motorcycles on the big screen!!

I have not seen the movie as of yet. I would like to go and see it. I would see it just because Orlando Jones is in it and I think he is funny as hell.
The movies and TV shows do not portray things 100% correctly because with a movie or TV show you need to keep the audience entertained. Real life is not always that interesting.
The one thing that I do not agree with is glorifying stupidity. I think that people doing stunts on their bikes has set motorcycling backwards. While I would say that it is not for me, it isone thing do stunts in a closed lot or track. The problem is that a large majority of the kids doing these stunts on public roads mixed in with traffic, pissing off people who vote. Alot of them don't wear any type of gear that they should, so when they get hurt they become a statistic in favoe of anything anti motorcycling. And then when they wreck their bikes, they run them through the insurance company, which will raise all of our rates in the long run.
I myself do not want to see anything that will encourage teenagers to go out and by a bike that they really cannot handle and getting hurt or killed doing something totally stupid.
