New Muzzy Exhaust
Doug or Rob,
Can you tell us when the new exhaust system for the ZX12 will be available? I'm in the market for an exhaust and don't want to buy one if your new exhaust is going to be available soon. ( Like before July 2003 ). Could one of the two of you answer that question for us.

Rob could be just saying something about the "new" polished oval Stainless muffler now available with any Muzzy system.
Guessing new product info is like playing the Lotto....anybody could be right.......or WRONG!

I read the same rumor on the exhaust. Supposedly something for big, high rpm motors to go along with their bigger cams. We'll see, I guess.

We are working on a new "race only" pipe. It is an off shoot of the 1427cc Pro Stock development process, which is ongoing. The recommended application will be "large" or heavily modified ZX-12's, although it will fit a "street" chassis.

Ok, probably opening a can of worms but would there be any advantage to a stock bike? And would I need a pcIIIr or map or anything? Sorry for being ignorant.

No, probably a disadvantage on a stocker. As for the 1270 question- don't know yet-only been working with large and extra large.
