i was kinda hopin the serpent was gonna do significantly better than any existing pipe. that was the promise of this revolutionary new technology at least. dont tell me it was another case of zx12r-esque marketing?

Micron makes a nice product. Curious about the weight. The claim is it is very thin stainless steel. So it is suposed to be close in weight to the Ti pipes. Hvae you had a chance to compare the weight?

Yeah Mick, I also want to thank you for the site! Nice work. I am doing a few of those projects myself. Brake lines on order, K&N in the garage.

It is nice to see a few hints and pics for 'surprise control'. Keep us up on the progress.

Been a VERY long day (last 3-days actually) but...
I have run and mapped 2...maybe 3??? ZX12s with the Serpent pipe...
They did NOT make any more power than the Muzzy piped 12s that I have run on the dyno...

OK...I just went and looked...one of the ZX12s was a DOG for some reason...don't know why...all I did was sync. the Throttle Bodies and map it...
It only made 163.8 and 92.3
The other one was an 02 with low mileage (less than 1,000 miles) made 168.7 94.7...it was totaly stock accept for the pipe and PC3...

"Good running" ZX12s make 172-174 HP and 92-94lbs on our dyno...
So I'd have to say that the Serpent seemed to make a LITTLE more torq....

John's VERY WELL broken-in (HUNDREDS of runs at drag strips ) STOCK MOTOR...with MuzzFullTi, timming advanced (4deg), K&Ns, Carbon Intake, Billet Basket, and Muzzys Fuel pump...with NUTEC FUEL...made 184HP right after I mapped it with the Muzzys Fuel Pump
I already turned off the computer and...I don't remember what it was on pump gas but I think it was right at 180
