setting off issues

Hi all, When setting off on my zx12r in 1st gear is like setting off in 2nd gear. seems to have no pick up from idle through to 2500rpm, you really have to rev it and slip the clutch. Ive changed the front sprocket to a 17 tooth but it made no real difference. Fitted a power commander and got it prof tuned but still no difference. Anyone any ideas?

just curious as to how ur power curve looks from ur dyno? mine falls flat on its face at that rpm and i just chalked it up to the muzzy exhaust, lol, picks up at just over 2500 n then feels like a two stroke over 7500, but i havent had my bike tuned i just run a map i got from someone on here
