zx12 speed sensor

does a vehicle speed sensor fault ( code 24),have any interferance with ecu, ie get you hamoe mode, limiting power, engine fitted in autograss car and i have no speed sensor fitted,cheers

Yes. It will impose lower RPM limit if there's no speed sensor signal to the ECU. As it's the earlier version, it's easiest is to make a feke signal from RPM signal or buy Muzzys Bonneville box (which makes the same). After that there's no limit. There are instructions how to build the circuit with 2 transistors and couple resistors - not very difficult...
