clutch exploded!!!!!
hi guys as it say it went boom!!!!.. this is what happend. had her ouside jus started it up lettin it warm up started cleanin her up wipein the wjeels ect alil time goes by bike is warm my buddy calls and so befor i hung up i decide to rev it for him...then almost instantly as i reved it it seemed to rev real fastand i was gettin sprayed with wat felt like sand then felt something bigger hit me and killed it all within in 2 seconds.... killed it looked down seen metel scraps looked like valve cover but wasnt it was the clutch cover.. removed wat was left of it and looks like the outter basket exploded and some clutch plates and put a small hole on the block side.... rode the bike 3 days ago all was perfect parked it and then this wat am i to do?????

looks like the basket exploded time for a billet one. better drop the oil pan make sure all the peaces are out. even then there still could be peaces in the motor but lets hope not.

strip the whole motor. you will find pieces everywhere. this happened to a local guy and i had to take everything apart

that's the route id go those little peaces could be in the top end. Scott I remember you posing pics of that.

yup. then take compressed air and blow out all the oil passages.

motor should be out this after noon any tricks doin this??? gotta go buy deep socket to remove wats left of the basket and get a good pic of the hole...

i talked to the guy that welded my case. you just need to look at it to see if it is fatel or just a hole.

I think its a 30mm socket deep well

if that is the hole where i think it is epoxy will fix that. that is fixable. put your camara on macro to get a better picture some time
