ZX6R, R6 and CBR600RR
Of course no one has been able to line them up together, but interestingly enough Sport Riderjust published their first ride impression of the ZX6 and R6 and Motorcyclist just posted their impression of the CBR600RR.
Of course they liked all of them. But what I found both interesting and promising was their weights. The ZX6R is listed as 355 dry, the R6 356 dry and the CBR600RR is listed at a swelt 370 pounds! It will be interesting to see anhonest to god shootout!

Both the R6 and ZX6R are in dealerships now. As soon as the honda gets in, I'm sure we'll see tests.

Road Racing World just released their test of the Honda 600RR. They liked the styling,it has a lovely personality type compliments, much like they have thrown at the ZX6 for the past few years.  They said it will definitely be seeing some race time on the track this year. They say we should expect a big increase in the number of riders choosing to race the 600 Hondas. And that is of course a change as over the past 4 or 5 years the 600 Honda has been scarce at the club racer and or privateer level. Typically over the past few years, the 600 Honda has really only been campaigned by the factory and or Novice riders. Now the question one must ask is why the anticipated surge in the popularity of the 600 Honda on the race track? Is it the fact that it will be the heaviest 600 in the class? About 20 pounds heavier to be exact. Or is it because it makes less horsepower then the 600 Kawi, 600 Suzuki and 600 Yamaha. The fact that it has OK brakes? No this is not what is about to propel the 600 Honda back into popularity on the race track. So you ask what is the big deal about the Honda? It's called contigency money from Honda!!! The big boys, we are Honda, we don't care about the racers, we are the popular brand, etc. etc. have realized that Yamaha, Suzuki and now Kawasaki have all built better bikes and Honda is getting it's ass kicked!!!!  So the answer is throw money around to entice local fast guys to ride a Honda!!!
It appears that the worm has turned!!!

it will truely be a great year for 600 supersport this year.......I cant wait to see.....
