zx12 gear poistion sensor fault
2002 zx12,engine in neutral, when engine is hot the fault code reader brings up fault 25 gear poistion sensor,and tells ecu bike is in 6th gear and locks out starter motor,when engine cools down it know is in neutral, i have checked wiring cant see any broken wires
has anyone come across this before or could it be to engine getting to hot

The sensor itself is giving bad ground. You can take the GPS out and clean and "adjust" or buy a new one.

Had one 'go' on a friends 12, bad solder joint on one of the wires, ground all the shit away, re-soldered, fixed, filled it back up with silicon from what I can remember, hasn't had a problem since.
