looking for a trans for my 2000 12
tshultz came out and we took the oil pan down to clean out the years of clutch junk out of the pan and he looks up and saw chipped side dogs.
so if anyone knows or hears of a rack of gears i can get and send out to get back cut let me know. i need to do this anyway before i put all the goodies on the motor.

i HAVE A COMPLETE INPUT SHAFT WITH ALL GEARS AND COMPLETE CLUTCH BASKET INNER AND OUTER AND A COMPLETE OUTPUT SHAFT WITH ALL GEARS CAME OFF A 2000 WITH ABOUT 3000 MILES GEARS LOOK LIKE BRAND NEW NO NOTICEABLE WEAR ON DOGS I'LL TAKE 700.00 OR BEST OFFER FOR EVERYTHING. i am sitting on my hands for a bit. was not prepaired to open the engine up. i will have a hard time taking it down for a while and not doing stuff to the bottom end. which means i am now hording parts for the bike bottom end wise and need money for getting a trans set up for abuse. and my duster still needs some slicks and trans blanket. dam bad timing.
it was shifting fine so it is ready to go to the track. dam rain.
anyone got a stock good A1 crank laying around for sale to use as a core and not kill me for it?

if bikeland did not eat it there should be a red pm marker top left of the forms and or post page.

kawitom i am think the PMs may be broke. i sent you one again and i did not get the pm sent notice that i think should be there after i hit send.
i am just going to waite it out. i have had a couple of guys offer me trans for 200 or so to send out and get back cut. i do not need any baskets or hubs. thanks for the offer.

if you just want the gears I'll do 300 and you can have the shafts, because I really don't feel like taking them apart, the only reason i even have these parts is I was going to send them out and get them back cut like my trans in my twelve now, I was going to build a back up motor, becasue I have a crank that just needs to be micropolished, a virgin complete head, virgin cylinders and this trans. I was gonna find some cases and build another motor. Changed my mind. Cause I just rebuilt my motor with a fresh 1287, with a cnc head/megacycle cams and should be alright let me know later Tom

If you run it hard do yourself a favor and get the gears cut and install a factory pro EVO shift kit with star......I road race though not much drag racing.....I had mine cut both ways forward and back...butter smooth now....good luck....Kawi's have sloppy as hell tranny's.....they need all the help they can get..... If you dont penny the $$ for cutting then at least put the shift kit in..
