quick ride yesterday..
Well got out on my 2nd ride (200 miles) on the 12 since the rebuild. Runs awesome and the suspension is just about right. Made some small changes from the 1st ride 140 miles) and went the right way. Little more front end feel and working better. I could not be happier. Only hick-up is the APE cam chain tensioner is leaking a little but is an easy fix....snapped some pics and thought I would share...

Thanks....I really wanted a conny 14 but they are just to heavy. Weight and price!! I did the GP thing with my last 2001 12R.....I went for trans-american supersport tuoring with this one..LOL Its comfy as anything and goes like hell, motor is ALL oem for reliability and love the looks....WAY better then any sport touring offering out there.....
The damper is a scotts. EVERYBODY I have talked to loves them...I like the infinite adjustable nature of them and also ran one on my last 12R. They run around 400-450 bucks and are available.....That bike had one on there when I got it...

Thanks...I painted the mirrors and signal housings with PPG solvent (DeltronDBC)...The color was way closer then what was on the bags when I got it. They just look so good that i just cant paint them yet until they need it....LOL
