Thinking about it.

I've been to Monterey 5 times in the past year and always stay in the Cannery Row area. It's a real nice area and of course I have 100's of pictures. It would be nice to go for something other than work and what better reason than a race !

I'll have to wait until it get a bit closer and see.

The Super 8 in Marina had some bad press recently on the board. I can say that I have stayed there a number of times when I have traveled with a group of fellow riders. Rates are reasonable and the facility is clean and easy in and out access. It is actually easier to get to Laguna Seac from Marina then Monterey because of traffic.

Did you get to go to the game ddpete? If you did how was it being at the game? Security must have been pretty crazy etc.

My ticket fell through....which was good that I didn't pay 400 bucks to see that....my friends got tickets...they left at halftime.
There was no partying in the parking lot unless you were part of a corporate party. They didn't let the average joe park, they had to take the trolley there.

That is what I have heard about the Superbowl. It is not really set up for the average fan. Nothing quite like a good Greebay Packer tailgate party.
