Billet 1317 kit for zx12 or 1270 kit?

I have a 1270 kit on my bike, but I have a friend who is letting me have a billet superbike mike 87 mm 1317 kit.
Should I make the change or stay with the 1270?
Thanks.

The billet block is for drag racing. It doesn't have water jackets which mean it will over heat. Plus you would need to off set the crank. 1270 is more streetable.

The superbike Mike kit doesn't use offset cylinders. It also is water cooled and as long as your fan works you will have no problems. It wasn't until I went higher in compression that I had issues with blowing head gaskets. When ordering from cometic, you will have to specify non offset 87mm.They make them thicker should you have to mill the head down.

The Muzzys billet blocks are available with cooling or solid.
