Esquire Mag. Squidlys!!!

......Suzuki guys aren't much better, which is why I never wave at them, either. They always have those stupid helmets sitting on top of their stupid heads, and God forbid they should wear any safety gear. They make me so mad. Sometimes they'll speed by and look over at me and you know what I do? I don't wave. I just keep on going. Please, don't get me started on Kawasaki guys. Ninjas? What are you, twelve years old? Team Green my ass. I never wave at Kawasaki guys......

This is supposed to be satirical.

I don't think the guy really rides, 'cause this could have been really funny.

Kind of a strange article. The guy is either being humorous or he is a jerk. It lmost looks like he is trying to piss everyone off at Honda riders! Anyway I wave at pretty much everyone and if they don't wave back no big deal.

Of course I was told by an old wiseman once then the guys that don't wave back have little dicks! .

I wave back at anyone that waves to me. My unscientific estimate of wavers from yesterday's ride.

#1 Touring bikes, Wings, ST's, etc.
#2 Other sportbikes, except Suzukis
#3 Harleys, yup a lot of them are waving around here for some reason.
#4 Suzuki riders

We even talked at lunch about the Busa's we saw that didn't wave. We concluded that the bike was so ill handling that it takes both hands to keep them on the road

You know until this thread I hadn't thought much about Suzuki riders and the wave. But in retro spec the comments are kind of true. I wonder why that is? It would be interesting to get some stats on the average age of Suzuki riders. As far as busa riders there are a lot of the guys that I have come across that really do believe all of the hype about the Busa and that just owning one makes you fast! That said I know some damn nice Suzuki owners and even a few Busa Owners!

I know and ride with some nice Suzuki owners, including Busas. It wasn't a stereotype or a blast to those owners (maybe a little dig), but just an observation from a ride. Oh, there was a gixxer in our group that saw the same thing.

To me, motorcycling is a like a family, a close-knit brotherhood of people who ride Hondas, wear jeans and a leather jacket (not Vanson) with regular gloves and a solid-color helmet with a clear visor, no stickers, no racing gloves and regular boots (not Timberlands). And isn't that what really makes riding so special?

Blah! Blah! Blah!
Wait till ya wreck with those regular gloves and jeans....Buddy!

What I dumb butt!!! Now I know what type of guys DO NOT Wave.

I'd have to say many quids gravitiate to the Zook's cause they are the rage now. Busa's and GSX-R's have topped the shootouts - nevermind that most of those fookers can't get much out of those bikes. They'd do just as well on a scooter.

BTW, I have both a Gixxer and 12R and I wave at everybody, even cruisers. I have passed a long line of cruisers and only had a handfull of guys wave. I KNOW those fookers saw me.

If they don't wave I usually give 'em the finger. :

I also own a 12R and an RF900, and as stated earlier, I wave at everyone and then just complain about the ones that don't reciprocate
