Ok... Why are these such bad things? If the cuts are done right so they don't tear up your pads would these be just like wave and/or slotted rotors?

"Kinda like putting a 'SQUID' sticker on your forehead".

If they are lighter might be an option worth considering

It would be interesting to know how they compare with the stock rotor weight.

The actual rotor looks a tad bit better and weighs a 1/2 pound less. So what do you say now Bergie?

I like it. There are two versions out there, the one I picture and the one you bought (from Schnitz?) If they are lighter, I will get one for sure. I only said they were pimpy not that I didn't like them!

I ordered it from Schnitz. They show the round one but obviously it came as a wave. And it is .692 lbs.(about 34%) lighter then my stock rear rotor.

I don't think anodizing would be a good answer. The rotor is a friction part and the pads would strip the anodizing. Thats why I am anxious to see how well the coating / process Ferodo used on SWFTs black rotors. I have never seen a coating work on brake rotors.

It's not bad, different! I threw a couple of bids down early on when there were some listed before. For the right price, I'd consider trying them.
