well, i tell ya, seeing the other stuff that kawasaki builds makes me feel confident in the quality & engineering of my bike. on the other hand, seeing such a blatant gramatical error on their global website makes me wanna back away slowly from the bike before it spontaniously implodes :o

What is interesting about this is it makes one wonder why they make motorcycles. irplanes, trains, ships huge equipment and then motorcycles? Of course when you look close they are also some kind of a major player in food. I have heard they account a significant percentage of the market in noodles and other things.

With total revenue for their third quarter being $35,898,000,000 (SIXTEEN TIMES greater then KHI's) and a net profit for the same quarter being $780,000,000... one can now see that the "talk" of Dalmer-Chrysler buying out KHI in a hostile takeover bid wasn't a joke. If it wasn't for Chrysler crapping out after the takeover (oops, sorry.... "merger"), it might have been a reality.

Would that have meant Kawasaki would have been building a V10 version of the Boss Hog? Or that concept bike they showed a few weeks back?

Who cares!!!!!!!! They make great products (Kawasaki) .....Don't you think???? If we bought our bikes because the corporation was huge, we all would drive Honda bikes, cars, and play Honda instruments?!? Right?. But I've always loved my Kaws even though they are a tiny company.

I know..................... I was half joking there, but they are not a big as the other major MC companies out there in total sales volume. But as I said, who cares?? They have great technological capabilities as we have all experieced in the past numerous years riding their bikes etc. I'll never forget when I bought My first "New" Kaw a Z1900 in 1973. They were miles ahead as far as the "bullet proof" aspect of a motorcycle was back then and in my opinion they are still have this quality about them.
