Finally got my fix!

Stopped by the news stand in Seattle, and picked up a couple UK rags:

Ride - Z1000 test, plus they raided the patent office to see what the bike manufacturers are up to! Interesting comparo between a ZX12R and a ZZR1200. This rag felt, that in a sport touring role, the ZZR absolutely spanked the 12R. If y'all want, I'll post the article.

Motorcycle Racer - Nice interviews with all the players, great pit babe shots and awesome actions photos! Something new this year, they are actually taking notice of AMA. Seems like BSB and AMA are going in one directions, and WSB another...

Lastly, I picked up Rider magazine. More for the touring / sport touring crowd, but I had never read an issue, so I thought I'd go through it.

Just claimed horsepower and torque, so it's just a first ride, not a complete test.

Some quotes:

"This is a naked machine in it's purest terms. And one that is absolutely tiny for what is essentially a 1000cc naked muscle bike."

"Hit 7500 rpm and the bike will accelerate lik no naked bike before it."

Most guys buy the Bristish motorcycle magazines for the pictures and only claim they read the articles. So stop bitching about the ZX6 article and go back and look at the pictures again!!
