Need your opinion. I have Norton 2002 anti-virus. I went to teh live update site and downloaded all the most recent updates, ( my pc does this almost daily automaticaly when on line). I did a complete scan of my PC. Nothing bad showed up.
An interesting point, only people that are on this board have said they received the questionable email from me. No one else in my address book have told me of any problems, and there are many that would.
Some of the people here that received email from me are not in my address book, and I have never emailed them either.
Is it possible that someone I have emailed has my address in their book and some virus shit is sending email from their PC with my address as the sender?
If so, I would think that someone on this board that has my address along with the ones that have been emailed with my address has the virus. Is this logical? I have no friggin idea how to even see the header on an email and tell if it has been messed with, let alone understand worms virus's trojan horses, blah blah.

not ur fault in the least ozzy. like i said, it's common practice these days to fake the "from" line in an email. i do it all the time for legitimate commercial reasons. chances are someone else from the board has the virus, and they got or sent an email to you at some point, so the virus just took ur email addy at random from THEIR address book (which doesnt just mean actual address book entries, it means ANY email ur ever received or sent since outlook automatically collects them). it would stand to reason that another board member with ur email would have emails from many other members of the baord also, so the shoe fits.
again, dont worry bout it, it's not u. norton would find it no doubt.
