Got my Element today!

Dealer called last night, the car came in early, they had it ready for me this morning. Way cool!

damn dude, that thing looks like it was pulled right off the streets of tokyo! very 2 box car like. not to mention very prototype-like! styling is decidedly fresh.

How does it run? I've been waiting to test drive one but the dealers only get 1 at a time and they're usually sold! They say its the same peppy 4 cyl thats in the Accord

*laughs* It's got more power than my old CRV. Will pull the hills around here without going down to 2nd. Gets in the 20's. Lots quieter than the CRV. I got it home, pulled it into the garage and it took me all of 1/2 an hour to put the keyless entry system in and the splash guards on. Since I saved $200 compared to buying them through the dealer, that worked out to what, $400 an hour? In any case, fer all you naysayers, it'll pull 1500 pounds, compared to 1000 for the CRV. With the rear seats out of the way, there's almost 6' of flat cargo space. Haul a bike in it? Dunno. But I *can* haul the dog in it without spending the next two days trying to get hair out of the carpet and upholstery.

A few of my favorite elements are Pt, Au, and O...but not necessarily in that order....lol

It is hard to believe the element and crv are basically the same size. The Element definitely looks tougher then the crv. I like it.
