For anyone following the turbo on ebay
As some of you may know there was a turbo listed on ebay last week for a sky high asking price of $1800. Of course no one bid. He relisted it the same price and then lowered it down. Still no bids as of now. During this course I have had some ebay emails going back and forth with him. In my opinion the guy not only needs a reality check but also needs to check himself. His name is David:
A: Hi there. I sold this to you, this is Ali. Did you ever run it?
D: Hi back.
If you read the description carefully you'll see that I never installed it. It is still EXACTLY in the same condition I bought from you 2 years ago!
(KEEP IN MIND HIS DESCRIPTION IS BASICALLY MY EXACT WORDS SO I HAD NO REAL WAY OF KNOWING IF HE ACTUALLY RAN IT SINCE HE JUST REUSED MY WORDS.) Note his slightly sideways response with the whole "If you read the discription..." Nigga, I didn't just read it, I wrote it mofo...
A: I thought the words looked familiar. Its been a while...I don't remember what I sold it to you for. Are you getting out of the 12 game? I have that spare turbo motor sitting here still, lol.
D: if you're willing to pay $ 1500 I'll let you have it!
(OH...REALLY! I sell it to you for $1374 shipped but you're willing to LET me have it for a price hike? I feel honored.)
A: I wouldn't pay a penny more than what you paid me. 2 years of depreciation doesn't warrant a price hike in my book.
D: It's not depreciation because it hasn't been used, BESIDES - how much was a gallon of milk/gasoline back then and how much is it today? Think about it!
A: My offer still stands, to the penny. Besides, who else do you know that races a zx12 has the larger fuel pump, larger injectors, JE pistsons, built up transmission and seat time over 200 mph besides me?
D: I been sitting on an offer of $ 1500 for a week now, but I thought I give you first crack at it. happy holidays then!
(LOL Come on man, money talks and bullshit walks...if someone was really offering this guy $1500 why would he give 2 shits about having ME have first crack at it?)
A: My offer still stands. Its the principle of the matter. I simply will not pay a penny more for it than what you paid me, its really that simple. If you have an offer for $1500 then sell it to them.
(He then sent me a couple of messages asking me to call him, I never got around to it.)
D: I thought you said your offer "still stands" !
If you don't buy this now, at this price; you'll never get it again. I'm leaving snowbording to Austria next week and I could use more "pocket money" and this is the only reason I'm offering it to you at this price. If it doesn't sell now it will sell in 2011 for at least $ 1,800 - because there's always a "sucker" out there!
Happy Holidays!!!
A: Dude, with your tone the way it is I'd give you $1000 max. You should really sit down and think about how you come across. I've been busy hence why I didn't contact you but that doesn't warrant your attitude. When I sold it to you I spent time with you on the phone, I was quite open and honest with you. I don't recall treating you like some sort of chump and certainly I won't have you thinking you are some sort of shotcaller trying to strongarm me into a purchase I don't really need.
So, in conclusion....its all about principles...you either adhere to them or let people walk all over you.

Dear shiphteey,
dude, I'll give you $ 10.00 just to go away!...and kiss my arse on your pagan holiday ...ho, ho, ho!
A: Big talk. Don't worry, the word it out, no one will buy that turbo now. You're a nobody, especially in the 12 world.
D: D: ha, ha, ha...what ever you say ... cheesy !
A: Cheesy? Nah, cheesy is plagiarizing someone else's ebay ad like it was yours. Cheesy is trying to sell it way higher than what you bought it for to the same person who you bought it from originally. Last I checked I have the fastest ZX-12 in the country at 229.6 mph. Last I checked I'm pretty deep in the 12 world and I can do my part to give people in that circle a heads up. So you can keep talking trash all you want bro but at the end of the day you're only screwing yourself out of money.
D: only a fucking looser like you would live in a world like that ("ZX12 world) ... ha, ha, ha....I am wondering "WHAT COLOR IS THE SKY IN YOUR ZX12 WORLD!"...
SELLING IT FOR MORE IS NOT CHEESY ... IT'S GOOD BUSINESS....YOU SORRY ASS LOSER!
NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY "INCOMING MAIL BOX" COZ' I'M JUST FUCKING DISGUSTED TO READ ANYMORE OF YOUR "cry baby" REMARKS - fuck off cheesy!!!
A: This is funny, I've been posting your replies on the 12 forums...keep it coming buddy!

D: HA, HA, HA, YOU'RE SUCH A SORRY, DUMB ASS!!! LIKE I GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR FUCKING "ZX12 WORLD" OR ABOUT THE FUCKING LOSERS WHO HANG AROUND THERE WITH YOU ... HA, HA, HA, DUDE! YOU'RE SO DUMB THEY SHOULD WRITE A LAW AGAINST PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
A: Keep it up....good fresh material. I'm glad others will see your true colors. Keep talking about the 12 world...you're the one with blown up 12s not me.

tempting except for the stuff that makes it fuel correctly. how does that work anyway on boost? does it change the fuel pressure as boost increases by a regulator?

Yes, it increases fuel pressure as the boost increases.

Hello shiphteey,
Our records show that you recently contacted or received messages from noble1910 through eBay's messaging system. This account was recently found to have been accessed by an unauthorized third party, who may have used the account in an attempt to defraud other members.
We've taken action to restore this account to the original owner, but wanted to let you know to be suspicious of any communication you may have received from them. Nothing is wrong with your account at this time -- this message is just being sent as a precaution. If you have received any messages from that appears suspicious, please feel free to forward them to us at spoof@ebay.com for review.
-- Safety Tips --
-- Don't respond to the sender, through either eBay or your email provider, if the message is an offer to buy or sell an item. This type of offer may be fraudulent, and the transaction won't be covered by eBay protection programs.
- - If you received what appears to be a Second Chance Offer for an item you recently bid on, and it appears in My Messages with the subject of "Message from eBay Member," it isn't a legitimate Second Chance Offer.
Real Second Chance Offers appear in My Messages with a blue background and subject that says, "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item...". Always check for both the blue background in My Messages and the subject line of "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item?" when responding to a Second Chance Offer.
-- Never pay for your eBay items using instant cash wire transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram. It is against eBay's Safe Payments Policy for a seller to request payment with these methods, as these types of payments are unsafe if you're paying someone you don't know.
-- If You've Already Sent Payment or Shipped an Item --
- - If you already sent payment for an off-eBay transaction, or if you're a seller who already shipped an item to a fraudulent buyer, we suggest you take the following steps:
-- Contact the payment service you used to make the purchase. If you paid by credit card, most card issuers provide consumer protections in instances of online fraud.
- - If you sold and shipped an item to a fraudulent buyer, contact the carrier you used to ship the item. You might be able to receive additional assistance from the shipping service. If it was sent through the United States Postal Service, you may want to file mail fraud charges. Please go to:
http://www.usps.gov/websites/depart/inspect/
- - Report the fraudulent buyer or seller both to law enforcement officials in your area, and in the area where the buyer or seller lives. To find law enforcement agencies by area, please visit:
http://www.usacops.com
When you contact a law enforcement officer, please explain the following:
- eBay will be happy to help with the officer's investigation.
- For more information on how the officer can contact eBay, go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/law_enforcement.html
-- You may also want to file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). The IC3 is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. The IC3 will review complaints and refer information to the appropriate local, state, or federal agency. To file a complaint with the IC3, please go to:
http://www.ic3.gov/
We also need you to take a few minutes to provide more information related to the transaction. The information you provide will allow us to work more effectively with law enforcement should an investigation occur. Please go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/transactions-outside-eBay.html
Click the "Item Bought Outside of eBay" or "Item Sold Outside of eBay" link.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
eBay Customer Support
