Total Seal Piston Rings

Its time to freshen up the 1287cc motor with some new piston rings. Have any of you used the Total Seal piston rings? Are they worth the money or should I just use oem style rings?

Are they that common? I never heard of anyone actually "liking" them for a particular reason. We tested them (when I was a "car guy") and there was no quantifiable advantage. They've been around forever. If there was some advantage the OE's or OE teams would have used them at some point- never done.
