How to improve your track riding

I went on a track day ride last November and found that I had a lot to learn about riding on a race track, my first time. Out of 4 groups (gp1=beginners to gp4=very experienced) I was in gp2 and was an average rider.

In October I went to the riding school in Thailand and did 2 weeks racing there, man did I learn a lot. Anyway, last Saturday I went to another track day here and decided to go into gp3 since I've had a bit of track time.

Well it turns out that gp3 is way too slow for me and I got booted to gp4. I end up doing better than most in gp4, amazing what a rider with a bit of skill can do on a ZX12. Going around the track felt as natural as waking up in the morning. Nedless to say, Thailand March 2002 here I come!
