splitting cases
hey guys,
I'm trying to split the cases on this ZX12
i removed everything that was needed, according to the service manual, but these things are moving....Do I need to apply a little heat(hair dryer) at the seams to loosing up the glue?
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks KZscott for the tip, but I got them split..It just took alittle time with the rubber hammer..I just needed to have some patience...LOL.
Now its time to clean some parts and do some measuring...

It spun a rod bearing(#4 rod)....My brother ran the bike low in oil (about a quart low).
So now I'm doing a rebuild.
It was a good thing, it locked up while he was starting it with the starter and it did not lock-up or throw a rod when he was riding it...He likes to ride fast tooo., so I'm glad everything work out the way it did.
