I've got one in my '02 that I put in about 700 miles ago. So far so good. Output seems fine, fit was fine and, of course, I hard wired it to the regulator. I don't think you can beat it for the price. I bought mine from a Kawasaki dealer, who hyped it as better than oem. My original only lasted 25,000 miles so that doesn't speak well of Kawasaki quality. Maybe we should start a class action suit or something to teach Kawasaki a lesson. It has to be a pretty widespread problem to make it profitable for the aftermarket to get involved.

I have one and it is working well for me. I also got rid of the connector, something that must be done on these bikes.
