Chrysler Scoot that goes 300 Mph

OK. I've been thinking about this new Tomahawk bike. If Chrysler can produce a bike that goes 300 MPH with no restriction....................... does that mean the ZX-12r and Busa can be unresricted again !??!!? DO YOU HEAR ME KAWI AND ZOOK??? UNRESRICT THE BIKES!!!

SSSSHHHH !!! quiet.. don't let the evil "legislature creators" hear you... let them THINK there is a bike from a major car manufacturer that goes 300... then maybe they will "overlook" REAL bikes from our favorite BIKE manufacturers and let them de-restrict future bikes!!!!

Its all part of the MASTER PLAN - BUAHAHAAHAHHAA

I know this won't be a popular view, but I like that thing. Wouldn't call it a motorcycle, though. More like "Performance Art". I saw a clip of it in motion a little while ago on Cavuto. A guy was riding it in a straight line and (very carefully) tweaking the throttle on and off.
The Chrysler comment was "It's an excercise in 'pure performance'"
Somebody should have told them that we could fix 'em up with a turbo 12 with the same power (500hp, I'm guessing) and it would actually turn!

Well, I didn't say I liked it or disliked it; just that it hasn't gone 300mph. Nor 400mph, nor even 200mph. It's all speculation, and personally I doubt it will set any land speed records, but we'll have to wait and see. Maybe when I see some actual results then I'll be impressed, otherwise to me it's just another Boss Hoss with a rediculous pricetag. I would love the chance to try it out or see it in person, but I don't think we'll see many of those except of course 100% chance Jay Leno will get one!

I just want the major motorcycle manufacturers to stop with this "voluntary speed restriction" . Any excuse for me will do... not that I ever drive at 190, but to me its a principle thing.

BTW - I agree with Doug, lets get some turbo/nitrous 12's and show em we can build that much HP with about 1000 lbs less weight!

its a novelty item, guys like Jay leno that have more money than sense will have them, if they ever put it into production...Personally I think it will be a big flop, and Chrysler will lose money, and lots of it.....if it doesnt turn well or handle well, its useless.......give me a 12, or 10 for that matter, and I will still have morey to pay off all my bills and buy another house up in the mountais near the gap......then I would be able to live off my measly military retirement...and have a blast doing it....heheheh
