Take that, Boss Hoss! Viper powered motorcycle:
Chrysler Group Chief Operating Officer Wolfgang Bernhard motors along the stage aboard the brand-new Dodge Tomahawk V-10, 8.3-liter (505 cubic inch) concept motorcycle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 6, 2003. The Tomahawk features four-wheel independent suspension, and the superbike's engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel the it at speeds of nearly 400 mph. (Rebecca Cook/Reuters)

400 miles an hour huh. Yea Right I would like to see that guy hang on at 200 miles per hour let alone 400, Total marketing crap!, Dont get me wrong here but let's be realistic. If they want some one to test it at Bonneville give me a call! but I seriously doubt that it could push through the air at more then 250mph, I guess Doug would be one to know! now all of that said I would be the first to ride it around and take it to bike night!

With a 500-horsepower, 8.3-liter (505 cubic inch) Viper V-10 engine powering dual rear wheels, the Tomahawk concept has an estimated top end of nearly 400 miles per hour, says Dodge. Does it turn?? Looks like with all that centripital force it may be hard to turn that sucker. Its also 1,500 LBS - sounds like a LOT of hype to me. Still, props to the gang at Chrysler for going to the wild side!!

what a bunch of balony. first off, it it has 4 wheel independant suspension, how is it a motorcycle?!? and 400mph is BS anyhow. werent some of the bonneville bikes pushing well over 300hp? & they only make what, 230mph? 400mph my ass. MAYBE 300mph, but with those aeros, i doubt that even.

If it had the same drag coeficient as a ZX12 and with 500 HP it should do about 316 max. Since it doesn't have anywhere near the aeros of a ZX12, my guess is not more than 220 if that.
