...explain? someone else on here make some hateful creation of a zx12 like i am?
as soon as i get done typing, i'm taking the sawzall to the muffler and making a shorty. front wheel is covered, should have the stator cover taken care of, and the exhaust is obviously in the works. found a guy on my local forum who used to have a zx12, sold me the factory exhaust that he still had layin around plus a bunch of other random shit for 50 bucks. chopped the factory headers that i got from him and mated them to the aftermarket collector pipes, and in turn am mating that to this muffler that i had layin around.

Joe I sent you email on shipping price on the front wheel. It's boxed and ready to go, I can send it out tomorrow, or Monday as UPS is closed on Sunday.

woot! i came back from going out of town to party, to find that my ebay sniper program that i left running was a complete success. complete forks with triples and axle, radiator WITH fans, and the left rear set, all won from the same seller, for a grand total of $323 shipped. i win!
and the front wheel has been shipped. it looks like all the pieces are on the way. two weeks and this bitch will be alive again

Well Joe, my wheel is bone stock wheel from 00 Candy Persimmon Red bike. If I were to guess your wheel has been painted or something. Sorry it doesn't match yours but mine is the factory 00 red paint.. I do have stock red rear as well...

welp, i got every piece of the puzzle put together. exhaust was finished, front tire mounted to the new wheel, and the radiator supports welded on.
before i had the radiator on, i took her for a spin around town to get some fresh gas in it and just to run it because i wanted to ride it damnit. had to stop a few times to re-fill the hoses with water. anyways, seemed to go fine. the next day i got the radiator back, installed it, put the wheel back on, and then dropped it off my lift. dun dun dun. front wheel hit the radiator. ...... frame damage.
how much of a nightmare am i in for with switching frames? i'm mechanically inclined, but never attempted something like this. a street fighter forum i'm on said its a piece of cake, but figured i should ask here and see if there's anything about this particular bike that i should be aware of.
