i would suggest keeping the oem setup if you cant figure that out. a lock up will only complicate issues

They are okay, but, there is a limit to the tuning on them........., especially if you have much hp.
I would at least get a multi. You can get them used pretty cheap these days........
If he knows what he is doing, tuning a multi would not be an issue.......

You can get a multi new for like 750........., I think.
That was probably with a billet basket. If so, that is a deal.
Thats what I sold mine for.
I know where it is, the guy has not used it, I can try to track it down
dont get me wrong, IF you know some tricks and all on a single stage, you can do some cool stuff with one...., but you gotta know what you are doing.
