Charging problem
Ok, this is been an ongoing problem, for the last 4 weeks,
started as a clutch switch problem, ( I have now bypassed the clutch switch)
and a flat battery, a
i brought a new battery , and tested what the volt input was at around 4k rpm.
this is around 13.4 to 13.7 volts.
so i am thinking the rec is no good,
but I have a pronlem that is also a bit of a problem, and im nor sur if it is just related to the charging issue,
sometimes when i str=art the 12 up the headlight wont come on, but if i switch the bike off, and turn the key back to the off position, and then back on the headlights will come on when started,
Is this happeing because of the rec or is there something eles ,,,
Im about ot get a new rec/ and have a look at the stator ( which was replace about 8 months ago)
any one out there who has had any of theses problems..
thanks

My headlight would go out every now n again, i found the issue being the wire harness right behind the guage display cluster, i dont c how the rec or stator would cause the headlight to come on n off, i would check the wire to make sure the headlight is not grounding out somewhere, that could potentially kill a battery as well, the fuse should go first but if its grounded out before the fuse then i would never blow
