This stuff sounds like something that may work. I have done the de-ionized water and 4 oz water wetter with 1cup of anti-freeze in my A1 12 with a little better cooling, but the traffic here in MD DC area is horrible. I'm gonna look into adding an external oil cooler and wraping the header to help with the cooling duties along with the water wetter mix i'm running. I hope this will work for me.

Do you have an upgraded fan like the Aluminum Muzzy fan? It will help. The most important thing is getting more airflow.

I had the muzzy aluminum blade on the stock fan motor and that didnt keep the bike cool. So I replaced the stock fan with a spawl fan that moves over 1100 cfm. It just didnt run hot as fast in stop and go traffic here in MD.

Doug, he ain't kidding, the area here is known for traffic. I've got the muzzys fan on my A1, I would recommend a manual fan switch...that or run around with no lowers and don't go trying to go 200 with it like that.

Yeah, I have the muzzy fan as well. Wish I could run 2 fans like the later models, it looks like the mounts on the radiator r different, my 1270 runs bout n the middle but goes all the way n the red n traffic, even when I turn my fan on wit the switch it will run hot, I run engine ice n water wetter
