Why did you order that? Because it's digital? Easier to read? Cheaper than a yellow box? Inquiring minds want to know.

Actually, I ordered it cuz Zhooligan is going blind and needs one. 
And I wanted to try out the different functions.
And it's very inexpensive, compared to some of the other 'experiments' that I've tried over the past couple years.
I ordered three of them, so 1 will go to Zhooligan, 1 will go on the silver 12, and the last one will be in 'reserve' for whatever comes up, like maybe my Raptor.

I had to put on my glasses to respond to this! It would be nice to actually be able to check the speed at the upper end without having to decifer the rediculously small numbers on the 220 mph speedo. And I would assume this digital one has a top speed memory. And unlike a GPS that you can take on an airplane and then claim you went 200 you will actually have to go 200!

I have found landspeed record runs in the dark tend to kill people. So the regular speedo works fine at night.

The Sigma only (only?) registers up to 183 mph. I bought one but the yellow box came out shortly thereafter and I never installed the Sigma. Now that I think about it, the Sigma has the features I use a GPS for but in a smaller package. Looks like the Sigma will be a winter project. I can count on one hand the number of times I've exceeded 183 mph.

I bought a sigma a year ago and tried to put the pickup on the r wheel so I could see if the tire was "slipping" during top end tests (201mph wall).
I was never able to get the mounting right so I finally deep-sixed the project.
How are you gonna mount the pickup?

Gonna put the magnet on the front wheel, which is the way I've seen it done. Pickup goes on da fork leg.

swft,
if you can put it on the rear you'll have a method to check rw spin (digital vs GPS) and I guarantee you'll want it when you get around to serious top end tests, Bonneville or street.
Besides, I know you will figure out how to mount it, then maybe you'll tell us

Yep; Swft got it. Click on the link; it's awesome! Data logging as well as real-time digital display that's fully configurable. I hear Team Yosh Suz is running them. Sigh it's out of most people's price range; but it's just tits!

Hard to say. It's still taking in the same signals, so you *should* be able to make it work. Doubt the connector will be the same tho...
