Heli bars and corbin

Im thinking of getting rid of the 12. Its just too uncomfortable on any road trips. For those of you that have them. does the corbin seat and heli bars make a huge difference ? I hate to get rid of the bike.

I found the Heli bars helped with my back and arms some. There is also the LSL upper clamp that allows the use of standard bars so you can raise them even higher than the heli bars if you want an even more upright position.
I tried a corbin and hated it. Way too hard and I didn't like being stuck in the position it puts you in. It is lower than the stock seat but wider. The one I had was a well used seat so break in time wasn't an issue with it. I just thought the foam was too hard. Some 12 owners rave about the corbin but I am not one of them.

honestly for me i almost sold the heli bars(they dont help trying to keep up with the liter bikes in the corners) also the corbin wasnt good for me either. so i had a gel pad inserted in it, and it made it even worse(waste of money) so i put my stock seat back on. but the heli's are still on. what helped me was lowering the bike with the heli's. oh' and also the buell footpeg mod. helps alot but scrape the ground when cornering.
