Well my coment about the 750 kicking ass is this: Kawasaki needs to buy a damn clue. It is sickening to see the other manufactures continually step up to the plate or table and do all they can do to win. Once again Bostrom has showed up at Daytona with a less then prepared motorcycle. Last year had Kawasaki put the same effort in as Bostrom he and they may very well have won the #1 plate. Instead they sent Bostrom out on a motorcycle not ready to race. Bostrom spent the first part of the season having to make up for lost time. The rules changes did not come as a suprise. Suzuki and the rest showed up prepared. Kawi didn't. The same can be said for Kawi's GP team. Shit Ducati's new bike is farther along then Kawi's at this point. The difference between factory comitment and gosh lets all hold hands and have fun. I don't get it. Kawasaki used to be committed to winning and kick the butts of everyone.
Taking second place at a tire test on a 750 is crap. Essentially, Kawi squandered an oportunity to see how their big motor would handle Daytona and the effect and or results of the the big motor in combination with the new tires. How hard could it have been for Kawi to put together a couple of 2 mil over motors? I know that a number of the uys on this site could have built them a couple. Honda, Suzuki, and Ducati came away with real information. Kawasaki comes away saying we came in second in practice. Big fuckin deal.

a prevailin attitude with KHI
everyone was hopin 4 the zx10rr this .....no show
a punched out or a red hot 900 would have been the ticket
no doubt MOTOGP 1K engine technology will start to filter back to
street engines in the near future......gonna be sweet
im really surprised the 1k Zuke is not runnin better
maybe KHI will pull a rabbit out of the hat in march......letz hope
tire tests......... most of the guys are sandbaggin
they never show their hand
i went to the AMA site to see if i could look up TRAP SPEED
i didnt find it.......if someone did let me know
TRAP SPEED tells you more than lap times
even comparin 600 times with the big boys tells you a lot
600 boys dont bag it as much & they are only 4-5 secs behind
once you get movin at DAYTONA........ flow counts for a lot !!!!
its 200 miles
havin a winning combination is more important than
braggin rights
with the new configuration i would have loved to have both trap speed........going into the chute on the back straight & at the stripe b4 turn turn 1........is very tellin
they wont have an opportunity to spin up the tire goin into turn 3
a much better & safer deal
still they will be flyin at the stripe
brakes in turn ONE will be an eye opener
severaL riders come to mind that have stainless steel BIG UNS
that will do very well at the crush goin into ONE
Always has separated the MEN from the wannabees
