Pics of the GREAT ICE STORM 2002
This is ALL ICE--NO SNOW and these were taking on my way home wed. afternoon. IT GOT WORSE!!!! Power was out at the office for 4 days and at the house for 6.
Notice the ice on the power lines and on the roads. The fire truck was spinning. When night fall came the rain/freezing rain started and that when the s hit hit the fan. Next morning 2 million without power and a mob scene at Lowes and home depot and kerosene pump. I just pulled the race generator out and kept on keeping on.

Incredible Doug. It's been a while since we had one like that here in Michigan. I remember a couple years ago Redelk posted pics from down in Arkansas when they had that ice storm, scary stuff.

Oh, I saw ice on the road once ..... when I dropped my bourbon walking to another bar in Tampa !!!!
I always love to look at such beautiful wintry scenes like that, while I am sitting on my patio in my shorts thinking about taking my jet ski out ..... these Florida winters are really brutal ....

the last time I saw something liek that was in TX when I was stationed at Ft Hood, funny as shit, you would thing that the earth was coming to and end......lol
