My observations... Be careful when mounting your pump and fuel level sender. Be very certain the bolts are threading straight. Also, be aggressive on cutting the "tank cover".
You'll notice a few things. One, the weight difference is huge. Two as well as you drain the stocker, it still holds a bunch of gas (pickups not low enough). I got just over 6 real gallons in the carbon unit. Due to the design, it splashes if you fill it funny (nozzle aimed at wrong angle).
Those are the big issues... and they ain't that big.

Hey, I didn't say it was going on one of my bikes! A friend who isn't online is getting one! I'll prolly put it on for him, tho. He just got his forks back from Race Tech. We went for a ride, swapped bikes (mine had the race tech front end) and after that ride, he put his bike on his lift and yanked the forks off, had them going down to Race Tech that monday. Next week, he should be getting his Marchesinis for his 12 as well, once again based on how much of a difference there was between his stocker and mine.
