WHAT IS IT WORTH? $$$
Looking for some serious opinions, I am thinking about selling my bike and was wondering what it is worth on the market. I know I probably don't want to hear the answer and I don't want to hear, "I'll give you $2000 for it" Just looking for some serious opinions on what it's really worth.

What a great looking bike!!
2000 models have a small following because of the first year / non restriction status. Being a one owner is a plus and you've done the bike up right..........looks fantastic.
That being said, if the price is set too high some folks will opt for a used 14 as a nice 12 and a so-so 14 will bring about the same bucks around here.
If I were in the market and based on the pictures I'd give 6 grand in a heartbeat, I think the bike is worth more than that and I'm sure you have more than twice that in it easily.
All it takes is somebody really looking for a slick 12 and I'm sure someone is out there, you just gotta find them.
Good luck,
Dan

Thanks Guys
Entropy,
You are correct. When the photo was taken i had just put the chain on and the guy over pressed the masterlink and it was too tight. I can't believe you picked that up out of that picture!
Dan,
Thanks for the compliments and the input.

just for comparison sake...I just sold my 01 recently with 13K miles, huge list of mods including chrome wheels and an MTC lockup / billet basket for $4500. It took 3 months to sell it. It's definetly not a seller's market right now I can tell you that. On the other hand...being a buyers market right now, I picked up a 08 ZX14 nicely modded for $6500 so the ZX12 cash went to good use. Good luck with your sale.

Need for speed thats a good lookin bike. I have a similar question because I am looking at a 2004 with under 3000mi on it. It has a billet basket, 6 over arm, multi stage lock up, but has no pipe or pc. I think I can get it for 5000, so you should be able to get that at least.

Hey guys,
I used to hang around here a few years back (WrenisPinkle) I cannot for the life of me remember my password so I created a new account today. anyway, I too am thinking of selling my 2000 12. I have several modds too but mine is stock wheel base. I was actually going to start a new thread asking for advice on value and best place to sell bike, etc. when I saw this thread.....
Mine is 2000, Green, one adult owner (me), 17,000 miles, very clean, just a few small scratches, neveer down, Hindle stepped full exhaust w/aluminum can, PCIII, K & N filters, Muzzy block off plates and aluminum fan, Goodridge braided steel brake lines front and rear, Heli bars, Throttle Meister cruise, EBC double H front brake pads, factory Kawasaki rider and rear seat skins, stock wheels stripped- edges polished- centers painted silver, Zero Gravity green wind screen, Front sproket one tooth smaller,
