Carbon fiber Termignoni Mufflers

Hey...was doing some perusing on the Internet, still havent reached the end of the web, and I came across this hella nice Ducati 888 SP4 showing some carbon fiber Termignoni mufflers....I've never heard of these and a search yielded non-English lookin' websites...

So give me the scoop if any of you have used or heard of Termignoni?

Check out the pic, cool lookin' logo on the exhaust:

They are one of the top of the line European Exhaust system manufactures. Probably make over half at least of the Ducati aftermarket exhaust systems. Top quality components, and well engineered.

Ever seen one on a Kawi? I figured it was European. Are there any good European exhaust manufacters that make exhausts for the 12 that are as good or better then Muzzy?

I kind of doubt many manufactures / distributors have put in the time MUZZY has in regards to the 12. You look at the numbers and I read that for example in England they sold something like a 1000 12's a year. I can't imagine the numbers being much larger in most of the other countries. Where as they sell a bunch of Ducatis.

VERY NICE 888 SP4

almost as nice as my 888 SPO

Termignoni makes top notch equiptment......
those are slip ons

i have the "Spaghetti" exhaust system for that same bike
was offered $4k for the system....... they dont make it anymore
makes a Big difference top end.....!!

as far as European exhaust for the 12
im sure there would be a few

stil it would be hard to beat a Muzzy
or an Akro(euro.....no??)

ciao

Does the "Spaghetti" mean full headers back, not just slip-on?

Where did the "Spaghetti" name come from or how did it come about?

SPAGHETTI

if you were to see the full system on or off the bike
its probably the most complicated system ive ever seen
& it worked........beautifully

its a full sytem......also balanced
where the stock system is not

i'll have to take a pic after xmas
(my daughter is gettin a new digi cam)
& post it

"spaghetti" was no less a term that aptly described the total system
after you see the pics you will understand
for only 2 cylinders to get near equal length & to balance(time) the exhaust
the welds rival those & the type of workmanship
usually exhibited by Akro

will post soon

ciao

Ducati has gone to using different sized pipe to suposedly create equal back pressure / balance. They do this instead of have to make the pipes equal length. It appears to work and certainly science/engineering supports the results. But the spagetti pipes look cool.

EXHAUSTS

so true

equal lengths pipes on a v twin arent necessary anyway
the firing order is unequal as a result of the 90, 60, 55
degrees of the V......
timing the exhaust pulses as a result to firing order
helps a lot
different size pipes is a plus

honda & aprilia had already used that approach
science helps by the truckload

back when the 888 was stompin
a little less so
cant stop progress
11 championships & very little seem close to the
first 851
