Attn Doug M. re Muzzy "can" packing

Hi Doug.

Does the density of the packing used in Ti oval can affect performance.

My original packing was approx 30% gone and I have replaced it with same type of material but it looks to be twice the desitiy of the original material. New packing is also from the USA. (I'm in Sydney Australia.).

Observation;
1.Running slighty (thats slighty)richer on O2 meter.
2.Running alot smoother through 1500 to 3500 RPM. Less lumps and bumps in torque and possibly more torque.
3.Sounds majical

Your comments. Many thx. K one.

Tighter packing is better. Performance will deteriorate slightly as the packing goes away. I suggest you purchase a new packing kit from Muzzys. It is a unique material.
