OT, Beautiful Night for a Launch !
Space Shuttle Endeavour, STS-113, left Florida at 7:50 PM EST. It was an amazing sight, cloudless sky, nearly still winds, billions of stars, and one bad ass rocket.

I wish my ZX-12 had those same out-of-exhaust effects.

Thanks for the pictures. I was living in Florida and had the chance to be there for the last Apollo launch. Since then I have had to rely on pictures!

It's been a long time for me too. Used to watch as many shuttle launches as I could. The sound is incredible. One of those "feel it as much as hear it" situations.

I watched the Launch at work, live feed. Still cool but I'm sure not nearly as cool as in person.
