Sounds like she is made out of the "Right" Stuff! Look around! Think about all of your other Girl Friends! If no one matches up, you better put this one under Ring & Key! (It is dangerous out there "In a lot of other ways"!! If you do not, some one else will! Friendships last a lot longer than Sex and Beauty! It is really great when you have all three!!)
A little of my thinking is my Marriage formula! (For men & Women) "Take everything you like about the person and SUBTRACT 50%! Take everything you dislike and DOUBLE!" This will be who you are married to 2 or 3 years later on! REMEMBER Everybody is on their "BEST" behavior BEFORE they get married!
I have just given the best advice I have on this subject! When I applied it to my wife, I said to myself, "Am I going to live this Good"?? It was even better than that!

she keeps telling me that I aught to keep her under lock and ring also......not sure if I am ready to do that for a 3rd time.....she is definately made of the right stuff. Eh VH check this out, she took my parts list, my instructions, adn had the 6R painted with the skins, and is taking the 12 adn getting that painted up with some goodies......so that both bikes are ready to go when I get home. And her favorite thing to do on the weekends, is go to T.W.O. and spend the weekend riding with me.....think I got it made.....

My wife was #2 for me and I was #3 for her!!I tend to think of the other marriage as experience (Remember, my father always says "Experience" is always something you get immediately after you need it"!!) I think you are now "Experience"!! Second, how do you think I came up with my marriage Formula! What difference does it make in life if you were "Never Married" or Married 5 times! Do you think that there is a "Special" Place in Hell? You lose points on test? Your friends will not like you (If that part is true, then they are not friends!) We went to a Pre-Marriage counseling classes before we got married! The counselor confessed to the class that he could not wait for the results of the 300 question test to show us hoe wrong we were for each other! "AFTER" the test, he confessed that he never saw a more Compatible couple! That is correct!! Try the test and make sure! It really covers everything!

I can honestly say that for the past 27 years I have been pretty damn lucky. I married a wonderful lady, beautiful, talented, adventurous and compromising. She had always been there for me, 100% supportive of my riding and racing. She has never asked how much I spent on this or that, and instead insisted that we buy the best, hire the best etc. Pretty damn lucky I am. Sounds like some of the others here on the board have lucked out as well.

Hells Dark Lord - seeing my husband caught on his ZX12-R between 2 deer and a Fish tailing Semi was pretty scary.
No that is not were he got the name Fish_Antlers from, but after that day he earned it.
(HH Gold EBC Brake pads, probably saved his life)
I think it is important to talk with your riding partner what to do if the rider infront of you goes down. Husband or friend. You never want it to happen, and you can't predict how you'll act when an accident happens - but I think it is important to have a plan.
Cause as hard as it is to hear it over that chatterbox, it's completely different being the less experienced rider watching it all happen infront of you.

lol, not gonna say.....lol lets just say it had to do with fireplaces and wine, and my........12.......
the 6 is a 01, but I just put sharkskinz on it with a solo seat, and a zero gravity double bubble windshield, some pirelli Corsas, and a host of other goodies.....had it all painted deep black....still waiting on the picks, Kelly picked it up last week and the pics havent made it here yet.....

PK! Remember I am a "Collector"! Instead to using Caps which is really Yelling, I tamed it down to the exclamations! If you ever talked to me in person, you would know that I talk like I write! I just do not taper off my voice at the end of a sentence, it is an abrupt halt. I am working on this because it is perfect for dealing with the people I deal with to make them pay, but not so good for the people I work with! 99% of them see it as a Period and the other 1% I enjoy the fact that they cannot deal with it!
Married or not, I had and have no intentions of putting more people into this overfilled world! Got Married because I knew I had what I wanted and wanted her to know that no matter what ever happened to me, she was covered for the rest of her life for covering all of my life! She knows that if she really wants to leave, he has a house to either collect rent from or live in. In the next few years, we will buy a house in Florida (Somewhere around Clearwater)! I am worth a lot more dead than alive and only hope that she enjoys me more alive than dead! 
"ZH" You know what I mean! It is really hard to watch my friends that are doing better than most, but no where near where you are! When it is good, it is great! When is not good, it is Horrible>>> It is not about ownership, but comfort level and trust (to me)

Ok...so this has veered off from passenger comfort since I last read it but...
To VincentHill and ZHooliganCrazy:
Do you aim your goals to be successful in a career to be comfortable for you and your loved ones? Or do you aim toward living life up at the fullest, while it is more fun. The hard work to live a comfortable level takes away from the fun factor of life. 2 extremes...where is the happy medium? If that makes sense. We only have so much time in one day...do we live for the moment now or work hard now to have those moments later?

Beans, you are 100% on the Mark about life! I "KNEW" that I wanted to race! I also Know that I needed to work and make enough money to race and a Job that did not interfere with racing! When racing full time, I got between 20 to 30 Hours of sleep per week! I got a Job where I could sit down all day long and be on the telephone so I could order parts and handle any personal Business! I found that the "Better" I did my Job, the more time I had to devote to racing! I have worked in the same field for 34 years. I have always had excellent insurance, Vacation and Sick leave! When I started my current job, I told them when they hired me that I would only be able to work 1 week before I took 2 weeks off to go to Florida! I have now been there for over 13 years!
I Stopped Road Racing for 2 reasons! Constant Rule changes and I got Physically WORN OUT! I slept for 1 year when I stopped (Work and home to bed! On the weekends, I laid in Bed and watched TV only got up to Wash and eat!) I was 43 years old and had raced for 15 years Straight!
Now Beans, how do you think I lived my life? Next year, I plan to go over 200 and maybe ride Bonneville! AT the last race next year, I will be starting my 61st year on this earth!

Frst late me make this clear, I don't claim to be good at everything I do! But what I am is not afraid to try and or fail!! So what I have written below is not in any way meant as bragging, it is merely intended to show what you can do by not listening to all of those people telling you to grow up!!
Bean... I am somewhat confused by your question. If you are intimating that you can't have fun and a family you are wrong. Not counting what I did prior to getting married I have done the following things insce being married:
Raced Moto Cross for 27 years and that includes three state championships and a Nation #1 plate, I have road raced GTU cars for 7 years, Autocrossed for 11 years, drag raced cars and motorcycles for 22 years out of the past 27 years, I skydive and have made just over 1100 jumps, I hang glide quit about 6 years ago to concentrate on roadracing, I parasail (not great at it but I do it when I have the chance), I bungee jump (over a hundred jumps), have rock climbed (can't do it anymore as the arthiritis (sp?) in my shoulders have eliminated this as a hobby, I have climbed Mt. Rainier, White Water rafted the Snake, the Colorado, and a bunch of smaller rivers here in WA., Obviously I road race motorcycles, and have sponsored teams in moth road racing and motocross. While this has all gone on I have been a part of my two daughters lives. As a parent and a coach I have been a part of their state and National championships in basketball, fastpitch softball and volleyball. And in all of this the time was made to help the kids excell in school and be good citizens. I have also coached PeeWee football for 14 years and had a chance to help some really outstanding young men become good citizens and players. Some of those young men are playing college ball and even in the NFL. filtered in with all of the other things I worked on my martial arts skills (made black belt at 17) and boxing.
I like Vincent found that the better I was at my job, the more committed to getting up early and doing what I needed to do the better I could and can manage my time. I can tell you that unless you inherit your money it is the work you do in your 20's that will enable you to play later. I believe that in all of this that it has been my ability to look to my partner/wife for support and help. And on those days and or mornings that I was beaten up and sore she was there to help me and kick me out the door if necesary. In return she has had a hell of ride to this point, had some pretty cool vacations, interesting travel etc. and pretty much had a chance to meet some pretty cool people along the way.
I made sure that I provided for my family and that I had a dn still have a significant amount of insurance to protect the family if one of my hobbies turned fatal. So far so good and I just hope the old man itis doesn't catch up with me!

"DAM"!!!! I have lived a sheltered existance, all of these years! Now I am sorry that I mentioned that I ever Slept! (or even needed it) But we do agree on one thing that Pierre (Bear Engineering ) says! "If you are not living on the edge, you are wasting Space"! ZH, you sure left plenty of room for the rest of us

To Beans Baxter, The reason this has gotten to this subject is the reason why we try to make, and spend so much time and money to make the second seat as comfortable as possible. Otherwise why bother!

That's a trick question! I have a great passenger seat on the Wing. But no seat or pegs on the 12! Actually I did talk to the wife about the 12 and she said she could live without riding on the back of it. As long as I had a bike she could ride on. So I bought a new wing for her to set on!
