Right lower
My right lower is melting from the heat being put out by the stock header.
I am still under my factory warranty till 11/20/02 and took it to my local ass hole dealer to see what he could do........ first he told me no way is it covered then told me to wait a minute....... he went in his office made some calls....... came back out and asked me why I didn't get an extended warranty through him, guess he looked it up on his computer , then told me it was not covered and "why don't you go to the dealer that sold you the warranty" in his normal give a shit tone of voice.
I'm looking for a quick fix till I can get this taken care of....... can't locate any heat reflective material any suggestions

I know you have 90 days from date of purchase for the warranty to cover body/paint issues....
but if it's all still stock, that should be covered within the first year no matter what.....
after that, without a warranty, no such luck I presume.

yeah take it back to the dealer, if it is under warranty and he is an authorized Kawasaki warranty dealer he HAS to fix it, if he doesnt make him get Kawasaki on the phone and tell Kawasaki what he is refusing to do....I did this very same thing to Daytona Kawasaki Honda when I was there for Biketoberfest, and the taillights went out on my 01 ZX6R....they fixed it on the spot. If they hadnt, Kawasaki threatened to take away there liscense....Kawasaki is good about takeing care of their customers, some of the dealers arent.

ive had mixed results on the phone with kawi...they always say work with ur dealer, document everything, then call them if there are still issues.

man BB I am telling you the guy I got on the phone talked to the head honcho at the dealership. The dealership went and took one out of a brand new bike on the floor and put it in my bike and they were just as nice as could be after the phone call.....argued with them for 30 minutes before the phone call, was riding 30 minutes after....
