ping ZHOOLIGAN......
saw on another site about sprockets you are running a 520 setup
many would think that inadequate
lots of road race guys do run 520 set ups
with HP equal to & in excess to a 12
am very interested
please explain

I am running a 520 DID chain with Sprocket specialties sprockets. Special ordered as they actually don't list them for the 12.
I have ran a 520 on pretty much everything without issue. I am interested in performance. Weight savings a reduction in rotating mass means better performance. I do not look for nor remotely expect the chain to last 15000 or more miles like some of the guys want out of the stock chain. But frankly in my youth I took a chain or two past the point of no return and experienced the effect. So I change out my chains when they need it.
My pathetic little 520 chain has had no issues with dealing with my 209 hp 1361 nor the 263 hp when it is on the juice. So I can and would reccomend a 520 setup if you are looking for performance.

520 chain set up
thanx for the info & reply
while road racin i used the same setup
was skeptical about that much torque & HP
let me(all) know whats the most mileage you do get with the set up
