Need to ship a bike from Oregon .....

I need to get a 12R from the Eugene area to the east coast. Any of you Nor'Westerners got suggestions on transporters to use?

Or is it a good idea to arrange thru a local stealer.

Or, can I borrow your truck? I'll bring it back in December.

Or, I will actually be out there in January. Can I leave it at your house?

If you have to leave it somewhere, why not just get a storage unit??

Thanks for the response guys .

I got with AMA, and they recommended Federated. Came out to about $700 and 8 days enroute.

About the same as a road trip, but without the snow, ice rain and other winter treats. I think that is the way I'll take it.
