Marchesini Cush Drive

It would appear that the 1361 is putting enough horsepower out to push the limits of the Marchesini Cush drive system. I have about 3500 miles on my Marchesini wheels, and I noticed a significant amount of slop or shall we say travel in the distance the wheel rotated prior to the chain and sprocket starting to move! Pulled the hub and the rubber bushings that Marchesini uses were pretty well trashed. Ordered a new set last Thursday and got them today and installed tonight. Much better! If you are running aftermarket wheels you may want to check yours out.

I also got a chance to try out my "3rd handstand" tire tool. Worked very well. Some of you might want to check it out at www.3rdhandstand.com. Made pulling and reinstalling the rear wheel much easier.

My (recalled & fixed/reinforced) Dymag cush drive now has 3K miles, no problems since the original was replaced 1.5 years ago...

I'm not that hard on it except for clutching 2nd gear wheelies once & a while, & a couple times to the drags a season...

In my case mine has had an enormous amount of hours on the dyno with tuning link etc, drag racing, humm street racing, track days, and as my handle indicates I am a bit of Hooligan and wheelies are simply a way of life! So I can't really look at any particular thing other then the operator!
