zx6 won't stay running
hey guys I need some serious help, my 2002 zx6 fell over yesterday and now it won't stay running unless I have the choke full on, when ease back on the choke the bike cuts off at about 1/2 choke, i know my model year doesn't have a tip over over sensor, what could this be ?

obviously, it's fueling..
you might have done a few things to it.. knocked a float out of adjustment, knocked a vac line loose, broke something silly thats just barely important enough to make the bike run..
lots of little shit.
i dunno about anyone else, but knowing that, i'd inspect the carbs, vac lines and cables very carefully, look at pump output, inspect float height and check sync.
if this doesn't work, theres a possibility as well you knocked accumulated tank rust from the bottom of the float bowl and it's now clogging the TPS screw(s) and/or pilot jets.
will it run off idle without choke?
if so, it's the screw or low speed circuit being clogged. off idle meaning 5Krpm or above.
are you sure you've given the bike a chance to fill the bowls? when a carbed bike falls, the floats drain. on some carbed bikes, the pump is pulse-driven.. on yours, i think theres an internal pressure swtch on the pump itslef.. don't quote me tho.. but that could be a problem, or the bolws just aren't full yet.
check the simple shit first.
good luck!
