buy the tools and put it in yourself. its a really simple job. you just pop off the head and cylinder and throw on the new stuff. id spring for adjustable cam sprockets too. no point in running stock cam lobe centers on a bigger higher compreession motor. also you can keep your ptv in check with them. win-win situation

muzzy is the only one that makes a "kit" with everything. it uses wiseco pistons. is far as i know wiseco is the only off-the-shelf 1270 piston. when bought separately you still need to buy the head gasket, base gasket, and send you block off to get bored out and replated.

Muzzy uses JEs, its actually a 1266cc kit or something like that if you want to get technical
Wiseco makes a 1272cc piston set
JE also makes a 1287cc piston set (commonly refered to as a 1290) APE offers an exhange program with this one as a kit

here are the results from doing the math based off the muzzy site:
muzzy says its a 2.5mm overbore in the "1270cc kit", making it an actual 1272.3
the "1375cc kit" uses a 2.4mm overbore and 60mm stroke crank making and actual 1374.7
but they say that the stroker crank will take the 1270 kit to a 1375. that actually makes a 1378cc motor
but, if you really wanna go fast, talk to ace performance about doing a 1287cc motor.

muzzys 1270 is a 2.4mm overbore not 2.5. if you read 2.5 on their site its a typo. the 1375 is the same piston kit only with a 4.6mm stroker crank.

This is a little off topic, and probably a dumb question, but how accurately can you measure your cc's w/o opening up the engine?

im not sure how you would check bore diameter without popping the head off to fit in a bore gauge....
