Motorcycle Jack Advice on Swingarm Swap
Hi Guys,
I am a newbie here so hope you all can help me out.
Going to swap out my swingarm this weekend to a new stock one, current one has the paint peeling off of it at the weld seams.
What do you recommend to support or jack the bike when trying to do this since you cant use a pitbull in this procedure? The manual shows like a scissors type jack but is that safe and where do you place it for the best stability? Or if anone has something better to use.
How much trouble or any caveats in doing this swap that you guys have heard of or run in too when swapping out the swingarm. I have a current shop manual to assist me.
What size is the pivot bolt hex hed?
Almost forgot the bike is a 2003 ZX-12R
Thanks for all your help,
Jeff
