whats that thingy called??
the V shaped black plastic that is directly behind the front wheel. it connects the front left and right fairings and faces toward the rear of the front wheel.
well whatever it is called i could use a spare if anyone wants to give or sell one to me. i got a little aggressive pulling the left fairing off today during an oil change and had a small crack in that piece, probably fine, but i know it will get worse with each removal.
thanks,
jason

Any bodyshop should be able to plastic weld it if you can not or, just clean it up nice and superglue it together. (nobody will notice...)

Is this the part your looking for? I've never noticed, but is this fairing part the same color, no matter what the bike's color is? Unlike the lower side fairings, it only lists one version of this part. Not that I have one, but I thought you might be interested in knowing the part info. Just in case you want to ask you dealer (or Ron Ayers) what the cost is.

redelk i believe that you have isolated the part that i am looking for.
yeah ill prolly glue it, no biggie, i just figured that with so many bikes getting parted out, and this piece being so insignifigant , that i could just pick one up real cheap.

Jason,
Since you decided to just glue it, I suggest not using superglue. It will not hold. If you go to your local hardware store, you should be able to find something that looks like two-part epoxy called 'plastic welder' or something like that. I've been using this stuff of cracked fairings for years. It holds up wonderfully. You just have to clean up and lightly roughen the area you're going to glue.
