DAMAGE REPORT
front fairing
left side plastic
tail section
tail handle
frame is dented in several places
clutch lever is broke
tank is dented
left rear-set is broke
coolant bottle is cracked
left mirror is waisted
alternator cover is waisted
frame slider is gone??(piece is $hit)
new bar-ends are waisted
rear sub frame is bent
This is just what I can see. I have a feeling it will be totaled.
2 questions??
1. Are there any motorcycle shops around here that will come out and give me an estimate? I do not have the energy to load this bike up again.(lower east side michigan area)
2. If they decide to replace the frame, do you think they will givee me the new frame so I can have it powdercoated before they put the bike back together?
Damage to me included:
1 broken collar bone
4 or 5 broken ribs
punctured lung
and I brused my hips pretty good.
NOT A SCRATCH ON ME
Wear your gear guys/gals. I slid thru about 70 ft of gravel and rocks and I dont have one scratch on me.
My helmet is waisted beyong belief and my leather is alittle scuffed up.

Estimate...
01zx6r...I'm glad to hear you had your protective gear on and that it worked to save you alot of pain and grief.
As far as the bike goes, I'd say they'll write it off. I've seen bikes written off for less.
Get well soon and good luck to you! -ZXtra

Ryan, I know you weren't all too happy with Kensington after you took your 6 there for clutch work and I don't know if they come out to people's house for estimate's but it's worth a try. Ask for Scott, he's the service manager 248-446-0000. Tell him Chris Corbett referred you, he is a really good guy. Won't your insurance pay to have it towed?
