Thursday Afternoon Biketoberfest Photos
My opinions, the green 12 is UGLY, the new black w/red flake is cool but they need to drop the gold wheels. The ZZR gets last year's 12 blue/black color, 6RR and 636 are cool, 3 screws and instant undertail, the Z1000 is better in person that in the photos but what where they thinking when they painted that and the 7R orange ??
At the bottom, some other 12's I saw in the lot

It answered a question I posted earlier...Kawasaki's black on the 03 has that violet hue to it. I dont like.

Those bikes look great...that new 10, 6R, and 6RR would look better with a fender eliminator no doubt.
A blue 6R would be nice to have though...hmmmmm....would be a great twisty bike to have along with the 12.

I want that black Z1000. I'll bet that thing would look/sound sweet with 4 CF pencil thin cans on it. Oh well, just picked up some Muzzy cams for the ZRX, guess that'll have to do....for now

I agree that green is UGLY! and I don't much like the other color either.

I like the chrome gas tank on the one custom 12R. Don't know if I like the paint scheme. I do like the chrome stickers on the new ones. That lime green on the new 12 makes me like the original metalic even more but not as much as the sexy silver!!

The 6RR looks real nice. The tail light on the 6 looks pretty cool also.

dam I like that 6RR not sure I can hold out on that 10RR due out next year????? got a 01 6R for the twisties, think I will wait to see the new 10 R.....aaaaaaaaa what to do......lol, maybe I need to get both?????

ya know, i never understood the appearl of retro bikes till i saw the zxr1100 in person. somethin about that bike just gets me goin. like the z1000 too. does love of naked bikes come w age r somethin?

Age? Just because the retro bikes don't require you to bend into a pretzel, kink your neck and test your flexability you would imply that age might have something to do with this!

There are no pics of it, but you should check out the the instrument dashboard on the new 6's...wow...really really nice!! I wish the 12's had that. I wonder if Kawi will eventually go to that on all their sportbikes.

Yep...that's the one I saw. It looks hella cool all lit up at night as well. I think it even has a lap timer on there as well. I like it.
