Getting ready!

For my bike ride down to CA. Since it's getting cold, stopped by the good folks at Gerbing gerbing.com and got fitted for a set of electric liners. Very nice people, anyone in the Northwest should stop by! I went ahead and mounted my GPS on the ZZR for the trip, too.

Gonna head out this Sunday, take 101 down thru Washington and Oregon, till I get into CA, then head down on 1 until I get to the bay. Then head inland and visit some friends near Sacramento. Should be a great ride!

Junior in high school is as far as I got. Maybe that's why I don't have any toys.

I've had Gerbing liners for years. The only problem I ever had was that my bare knees would get hot, due to them being UNDER my leathers and my riding position. I called them to order an additional adjustable thermostat, so I'd would have one for the jacket liner and one for the pants.

The Gerbing folks were so cool because they recommended that I just rig up a switch that plugged in between the pants and jacket liners. I did that and it worked great. Now the only problem is that I've gotten too fat to wear them under my leathers.

Freek... Junior year in highschool, carried a 4.0, don't have to worry about what's next after highschool, had a badass hotrod car and a street bike and a dirt bike, kickass job making good money, Playing Football and baseball (state champs in both), college scouts talking to me about football and pro scouts talking about baseball, no selective service draft number yet (VietNam going strong kind of shitty!)and of course girls! So as you can see I had/have a different perspective!

EBD - This sunday, I'll be on my way down! Next Sunday, I'll be on my way up! Sorry!

Big12 - I'm using the Garmin 176C

http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsmap176C/

It comes with the mounting bracket shown in my picture. On the 12, I simply mounted the plate to the fuze panel cover (ashtray).
I added memory to it, and it's loaded with the Metroguide USA.

i'll say thats a different perspective zhool!! i had the 4.0 and worked alot too, but it was pretty much min wage and it certainly wasnt kickass. had a pretty funky car too, but never had time to enjoy it workin 35hours a week during school. most DEFINITELY did not play any sports, and the chick i had on my shoulder was a pain in the ass (altho very hot). so all in all, i thought it sucked.
